# Liquity

The DeFi Franc protocol is a further developed version of the [Liquity](https://www.liquity.org) protocol (one of the best and most decentralized DeFi projects out there) and their stablecoin LUSD.

The DCHF Documentation is also based upon the [Liquity Documentation](https://docs.liquity.org).

## The Differences

* The DCHF is pegged to the value of one Swiss Franc (CHF) instead of the LUSD which is pegged to the value of one US Dollar (USD).
* The DCHF also allows wBTC as a Collateral in addition to ETH.
* The DCHF is governed by a DAO and supports the addition of new Features.
* The Allocation and Distribution of the MON token are different than the LQTY token.
